You can get your test results online without having to visit the surgery.
How to get test results
We will contact you by telephone, or by SMS text message, or by letter, only if a result is abnormal and you require treatment or further investigations. You will not be contacted if your result is normal. If you wish to discuss the results of your tests with a Nurse or doctor please submit a request via Anima. You can also call the surgery for results after 11am and the reception team will be inform you. Adults' results will not be given to anyone other than the patient, except in exceptional circumstances.
You are also able to see test results carried out by your GP via the NHSApp and SystmOnline Login. Both require registration and detailed coded access.

How long does it take to get my test results?
When you attend a test of any kind, you will be told how long you should expect to wait for the results. Blood test results usually take five working days to get back and be checked by your GP. If there is anything that needs discussing further, your GP will call you as soon as they get the results back. If there are no problems with the results, then you will not be contacted.
